My question is simple. I want to put a music cd into my cdrom and record 1 song from that cd, so later when I'm working on my computer I can listen to that song without haveing to put the cd in again.
If you are just wanting some music to listen to on your computer there are quite a few players on the internet for free that will encode whatever song you want to listen to in a compressed format. The format extension is for whatever jukebox player. If you are Running window's 98 window's home page has a player for free. There is also several other players on the net I do suggest if you don't know how to reassociate file paths you don't download
win-amp if you don't want it as your main media source. All the top players have help files to get you started and quick start guides on their websites
Hi Mark,
Thanks for the information. For awhile there I thought my question must have been to boring for anyone to answer. I'll have a look at some of the things you suggested. Maybe find what I'm looking for. Thanks again.

Other people around here said they don't like it, but I use Musicmatch, which will show you the tracks on your CD and let you put them to MP3 in a snap. I like it cause its SO easy.
Hi H2H, Thanks for the info. Will try it and see what I think, hopefully this idea plus Marks input will give me what I'm looking for. All I really want to do is put a cd in, and while playing a song I want to be able to save it and make a playlist that I can listen to at a later date.
