hi
is anyone familiar with this workshop
i was thinking of attending this spring
i wondered what the content was like and if there is any realistic job potential once you graduate
I can't speak for the job ops but I live about 30 minutes south of the Recording WS. I took a tour a few years ago with a friend of mine who knew one of the Instructors, his band was going in for free studio time to record while they taught the students a paticular block. I was impressed with the facilities and the layouts and gear was awesome. The tracks they did sounded pretty nice too.
Its not for a degree, though.
You can get a two year degree from Tri-C RAT program. Head North about 2 hours..... http://www.tri-c.edu/rat/default.htm
