Ok, I just got a brand new P4 2.66 ghz computer, I also own an Akai MPC2000XL, an Alesis QS6.2 synth, a midiman midisport 2x2, an M-Audio USB Pre-Amp, and a Shure 57 mic... Any suggestions for recording??

what kinda music you doing? Hip hop? I've wanted to get my hands on one of those MPC2000... They look so bad assed I just don't know if I'd know what to do with it tho!
How's the Alesis 6.2... I was thinkin' about eventually getting an 8.2 because they're so damn cheap
