wordizbon...I know I havn't taken part in any of this discussion, but you really have my curiosity now.
How do you have the program that you don't have a manual or the disk for, that steinberg won't help you get a manual or a disc because you said yourself "they don't help people who didn't pay for the program" (basically saying you didn't pay for it), yet the program is not an illeagle or "cracked" version? If it was a gift you should have the disc, the getting started book, and a copy of the manual on the disc. That's the only way I see getting Cubase without paying full price for it, unless it's a cracked version, or someone gave you a computer with a copy of it on it which is basically the same as stealing it.
You don't have to answer, but I just don't see how all this is possible. You shouldn't come down on Chris, he is just doing what any rightful Cubase owner would do. We all payed for the program and you'll find most here won't help someone who didn't. So what's the story?
