I just bought the Firepod with the Cubase LE and am new to home recording. I was wondering if anyone has ever recorded Roland V-drums with the Firepod?

I guess my question is: Where do I plug in on the back of the V-drum TD-10,
Direct 1 L/R,
Direct 2 L/R,
Direct 3 L/R,
Master R/L (mono)

And where into the Firepod?

I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.

Jeff

RTFM.

j/k :p But, seriously, did you read the manual? That is probably your best shot.

Depends on what you want to do. If you just want a stereo mix of the drums, use the master L/R outputs into the line inputs on the back of the Firepod. If you want more individual control, i.e. each drum have it's own track, then use the direct outputs into the line ins. I don't know anything about the V-Drums in specific, but I assume that is how they work. You might try asking in the computer recording or drums and percussion areas of the BBS. You will be able to get more specific answers about the V-Drums themselves.
