recording turntables?

when you hear turntables/scratching in songs

is it digital or micd turntables?

for example:

beastie boys

-intergalactic

that song has a lot of little scratches in it...just wondering to go digital or analog?

There are plenty of royalty free samples available as .WAV files or on vinyl.

If you have turntables even if they're not usb it's very simple to hook the outs of the speaker amp into the line ins on an audio interface to get actual recordings of vinyl stuff.

there are now also virtual dj systems that allow you to mess around with sampls and scratch them up and play with them as you would on turntables in a virtual decks set up
