Hey everyone. I currently have an older computer.128mb 1ghz 20.gb hd.i have 3 shure sm57 mics.and a couple of other mics.an 8 channel mixing board wich is kind of old.i have a whole samson P.A. setup.all the amps and accessories to start recording.my question is how can i set this all up to my computer.line in line out?through the mic input?i plug it into the line in and it sounds horrible.so then fro there i mic'd up my amp,it sounds pretty good so ill probly stick to that.now for the vocals.should i use the shure sm58 or the shure sm57?and should i use it in a closet with a bunch of pillows and whatnot in it?any help would be greatly apperciated.thanx alot guys.
