When i record the drum tracks from a computer program, it is wonderfull but when i plug in to the computer to record something (guitar/vocals) the sound is almost there but for example the guitar sounds like its "wargled" kind of out of phase......i dont know, just weird noises coming from the track but its almost there...........anyone??? thx

describe your setup...what mics, what pre amps, what soundcard. give as much detail as possible. Help us help you...

Nothing fancy here- adobe/ cool edit 2.1/sound card- sis7018/computer-531 mhz/ 248 MB...40 gig
like i said the drum tracks are fine but when i record a line in from a guitar (direct)the sound is there but its not good...could it be my buffer set up?im kinda new to setting up the buffer sizes, any suggestions?

Are you recording a guitar directly to the line-in, without an amp of any sort?

If so, that's likely the problem.

did you also record the drums or are you using loops or something?
