I was recording my Acoustic Guitar last night through my new Art Tube Mp. I was getting slight buzz or hiss that you might associate with a grounding problem. I know my house doesn't have the best wiring but none of my amps or other equipment has had this problem. I plug the art's power cable into my Monster PowerCenter PC 1000 which is the same line conditioner that my amps and effecft run on.

The noise isn't very loud. You can really only hear it when nothing is being played.

How do I fix this?

assuming your already familiar with the star ground approach.
unplug each unit at a time till buzz disappears. thats the offending unit or cable.
peace.

petit. where ground loops can occur is if for example you plug an amp into a living room wall outlet then the pc say into the den ac outlet.
the star approach is to come out of one dedicated outlet to all the equipment. like a tree top down to all the branches and leaves.
ideally for a recording studio say in your house you need whats called "a dedicated line". so for example when the compressor in the kitchen kiks in
in the fridge you dont get it impacting your recording studio in the den.
see what i mean ?
just search under my name for hundreds of tips posted in the past year.
peace.
