Recording only on left side helppp

[Theory]

HELP!! When i try to record the vocals only comes out on the left side and total silence in the right(recording in stereo). My setup is

RNP through Mogami 1/4-1/4 to RNC through Mogami 1/4-1/4 to RME Multiface

Hopefully you guys can help me solve this.

Are you using a mono cable?

Nope.. I have a Mogami Gold Series Studio 1/4” Plug to 1/4” Stereo Hi-Definition Patch Cable. Thanks for the fast reply btw =)

somewhere in your recording software you have to tell it you want to record mono......

unless you are recording from 2 mics?

Yup i know but it should be able to record from both the right and left channel. Do i need a Y connector from the RNC to the RME?
