Recording on channels 3-???

I have recently purchased Cubase 5 and a delta 1010 and am unable to record any other channels besides channels 1 & 2. When I go to the VST inputs section, it shows only channels 1 & 2 even though I have instruments plugged into channels 3-8. On the Delta, channels 3-8 are unmuted and show good sound levels. Help! Thanks.

my 1010 is setup, did you set up your patchbay? what Os ae you running...

check that you're using the correct asio driver

and that channels 3-8 are activated in cubase

and also run your asio multimedia setup, the inputs and outputs that are active, can be changed and tested here.
