Hey to everyone

I want to record on more than two tracks at one if possible.

Is it possible to record more than 2 tracks at once on my PC? I've got a DMAN 2044 with 4 ins and 4 outs and Cubase VST.

I can record stereo on 2 tracks obviously, but what if I want to record vocals on track one and at the same time, play and record accoustic guitar on track 2 or 3? Is it possible.

Is it possible to record vocals on an audio track and simultaneous with that, midi on a midi track. I've tried it, but can't seem to figure it out.

IF it is not possible with my current setup, is there a setup out there that would achieve the above?

Any comment or help will be appreciated. Thanks

IF i understand your question correctly, yes you can record 4 mono tracks (or like you said 2 stereo tracks) at the same time. Just make sure you set the "track properties" or whatever of cubase to record from the correct DMAN input 1-4, and you'll get 4 tracks of audio. I'm a little slow today and if i missunderstood your question, sorry dude...Rhoadz

Thanks for that bud, I'll shure try the options, although I've fooled around with the input section and there it seems that you can either enable 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. Maybe I'm just a little slow, so maybe I'll figure it out somehow.

What about the midi? Can I play and record a midi instrument at the same time as an audio vocal track?

Also, check that you have multirecord checkmarked. It's under options or one of the dropdown menu's along top.

As well. In the monitor view. Tools>Monitor. At the very top of each fader there is a little box that will say 1L or 1R etc.

Hold down CTRL and select 2L and 2R on 2 more faders to give you inputs 3 and 4.

You must have the inputs active though under another dropdown menu "inputs"

Hope that helps.
