Recording MONO ...

Ok this isn't really important but I have been wondering.. When I record a track in multi view it always records in stereo because that is how I have the track settings. If I want to record a mono track it only alows me to record the mono left side ormono right side. The other side of the track is still there just not recorded on.. If I record m How do I get it to record just one track down the middle.

I don't know if this makes sense or not..

I want to record in mono like track 2 in this image and not just one sided like right mono in track 1..

click on the "Rec" button next to the track .... if you have stereo sources, you can select just "Left Track" or "Right Track" and you'll get a mono track in your session when you record

Thanks jrosenstein, I feel stupid now.. I could have swore when I did that it recorded the left channel and was panned far left.. That worked..
