Recording MIDI to audio track in Cubase

Hi guys! I'm pretty new to recording so I have a question. How can I record a MIDI track in my Cubase project to an audio track? I've read a lot about MIDI so I know I have to convert it to audio in order to export the project to a .WAV file.
I've used a YAMAHA keyboard (PSR E413) to record the MIDI tracks with and I do not have a sound card yet. I only use a USB cable to connect the keyboard to my computer. Please explain it easy to me since I'm a beginner.

I know there's a lot of threads on this topic but after spending 4 1/2 hours without getting any further I'll take a shot and ask the pros! :)
 
If you want to use the sounds from your yamaha keyboard, you have to find a way to bring them into your computer; a soundcard, or rather, an audio interface. If you want the sounds generated inside your computer, you will need a VSTi. VSTi's are plug-ins that run inside of Cubase and range in price from free to thousands. There are a few that come with Cubsae for you to try. Refer to your manual to learn how.

Forgive me, I only saw that it was the largest post and assumed that was the one I meant. However you are correct and whoever wrote that post should probably go down as a hr legend, hall of fame status etc.:cool:

well it's the thought that counts... ive got to spread some too. any idea how much you have to "spread" to be able to rerep?
 
To put it simply, do an audio mixdown of the MIDI instrument the track is going to.

The instrument should show up as a track on the grid. You can either select the instrument in the audio mixdown window as your source, or just solo it and mix down the stereo output.

Sorry, I don't know. Often wondered myself, but never counted.
