I've tried connecting my PC's line out to it's own line in but the resultant recording is smothered in wierd reverbiness and I can't get a decent level.
Ditto through a mixer(Old Tascam 4-track).
What am I doing wrong and am I doing anything right?
It's almost enough to make one take up accountancy as a release!
Suggestions gratefully...etc.

Dear Wannabe,
As you have figured out how to record a MIDI file into an AUDIO file, I was wondering if you could help me do the same. This is one of my major problem right now.
Thanks very much.

Francois

It turned out to be pretty simple for me Francois.
a) Make sure you're set up to record 'What U Hear' on your SB mixer,
b) Mute all tracks u don't want to record (probably your other audio tracks),
c) Prepare to record as you would any other audio track (i.e level checking in Cubase etc.)
d)Record your musical genius,
e)Hopefully Bob is now one of your parents' brother.
Good luck,
Wannabe
