haha

I can do nothing but sit back and laugh. I can't get mad at the rude posts,
I just asked for help. I didn't realize that is was the soundcard in my cpu. I've heard so much about the brand in magazines and from other people so i said what the heck with research or the little bit i had done. So, I had upgraded from software to software. Looking at the interfaces and such was so tantalizing to my eyes, AGAIN NOT REALIZING IT WAS MY SOUNDCARD.
I have figured out my problem, buy a better soundcard.

Thanks to all those who helped me out.
They made this forum site to help and learn from one another not criticize and
accuse ppl of pirating. There are some honest people out here.
So please stop and be more nice.

Thanks again.

I use a soundblaster audigy 2 zs platinum pro. And my recordings sound great. Even if I do say so myself. No latancy, no poor quality sound. No problem. I don't know why they get so much of a bad rep. Never had a problem myself. Is it just the Soundblaster Live thingys that are supposed to be a but flunky?
The only problem I have recording is my dodgy guitar skills, meaning I take ages to record everything cos its always on 'take 87' or something that I nail it. Unfortunately I have not yet found a way to upgrade the guitar drivers in my cranium to 'Satriani V.156'.
You may have the latency or buffer on your ASIO drivers set too high. Try going into your preferences for each program (I am only familiar with Cubase) and try setting the buffer to about 7ms. If this doesnt solve it, turn direct monitoring off. Ie, dont listen to the output of what you are recording on your computer while you record it, just listen to the backing track.

If you ask me without sarcasim, I think your pc is not built to handle the programs that you have. Latency will continue to be a problem with that soundcard that probably came with your pc. I don't know how many programs you run at a time but your RAM appears to be quite borderline for the software your dealing with especially the CUbase and Sonar (Why do you have both? Pick what suits you and work with that one!) You are suffocating your pc by experimenting with all these diiferent programs.........
You are busting your CPU right in the forehead, what are you waiting to see, the White Meat?

Hmmm

Interesting enough,

I only use one program at a time.
It has to be my soundcard. (soundblaster live 24 bit)
At the time I was experimenting with all these to see what was good for me.
I have found one.
Thanks
