assuming you can get a signal to the computer from your turntables (don't they have a special kind of output?) the first step would be to look in the back of your computer and find the audio in jack and find the appropriate adapters and hook them together. Then look in your windows start menu under accessories and click on entertainment and select the audio recording feature. Check your levels and use windows help to make sure the settings are correct. This will create a .wav file somewhere on your computer name it and store it like any other file....... If you are running Windows that is really all you need to record audio on your PC ...there are lots of more sophisticated and costly ways than this but if you can do this task then you might look into specific kinds of devices to enhance your recording....these would be a better sound card and recording software that would allow more/better ways to manipulate your audio........there are a number of free/shareware solutions on the web....hitsquad has a very comprehensive listing also search on this site and others for FAQs and tutorials for digital recording
