I need some help with some definitions. I have a Fostex VF160ex. The Operation Manual assumes that I know more than I do. I'm curious what do the words "event" and "scene" mean. Can somebody break them down into redneckese so I can understand them

scene usually refurse to the snap shot of what you see on the screen of your work at a given time.
Event? In the event of a total failure .... event may refer to your work in progress?

These are all just shots in the dark can you post those words in the sentences that they are using it in?
