I'm switching to Sonar 8 Producer Edition from Cubase SX3 because I upgraded to a 64-bit operating system, and I'm wondering if setting up the software to record drums is similar to how it was in Cubase. I'm running a MOTU 828MKII with a MOTU 8pre slaved into it for a total of 10 inputs. How would I go about configuring a a Sonar session to accomodate these 10 simultaneous inputs in order to record a full drumkit?

As long as your MOTU's are configured as your default drivers, Sonar will recognize all available inputs. Then it's only a matter of arming each track and assigning which input will be recording to it.
