recording acoustic guitar with ux1

is there a problem with connecting an acoustic guitar with a pickup( lets say a dean marley pickup, into a line 6 ux1 interface?? will it work with distortion effects without making to much ground noise?

The impedance of the acoustic guitar pickup should be basically the same as any electric guitar or bass, so you shouldn't have any trouble connecting it to the Line 6 interface.

It may take a little balancing of volume and tone to get the right distortion settings, but once you get it right it will just plain rock...

It works and sounds good. I typically just turn on the "tuner" and record raw acoustic.
