First, you wanted to do a christian reggae band, now you want to have a latin band???

Go to a local junior college or a regular college and sign up for a basic music course -- percussion for example or chords or theory or something.
Within the class do a scan of the students and try to find a keyboard person, and a bass person, a flute person, and, Voila, with a bribe of a couple of pizzas and beer, you could cut your first LATIN CD. And, you could call it, Caliente Jugar.

If its latin music why is it in spanish?
I did real latin music in my college theory classes. In latin not spanish.
By the way if you visit a mexican resturant in the towns art district you are bound to spot the strolling band, sign them to a greeseball contract and they willbe your band and best of all you wont have to learn latin.
