Recording a DJ

My friend has a friend who is a DJ, faders, mixers, cuts, scratches, etc. Anyway, he wants me to help him record some stuff for his college radio station. What would be the best way to do this? Micing HIS monitors or running a line out from his mixer to the line in on my mixer?
 
Just connect the booth out from the mixer directly to your sound card
 
yeh, I mean it's pretty simple.

RCA out into whatever you got then record.



Just watch out not to record too hot a beat, you don't want to start a fire! (bad joke)
 
I have no clue what to expect. I've never heard the guy, but he has a slot on the radio at some college.
