I'm going to be recording a choir at a church to tracks I'm recording now. Their going to be in groups of 5. Is their any easier way they can hear it w/o buying a headphone amp and 5 set of cans?? Any monitor placement ideas so the track won't bleed? Thanks

If they each have their own (uni-directional) mic, you should be able to find a spot for a single monitor that everyone can hear without an insane amount of bleed.

Hopefully, they won't want you to crank it too much...

I think Where using 2 AKG C414 mics. Maybe I can goto various places and buy headphones and return them the next day. Then I'll need a headphone amp. Hmm..

Maybe you should buy a headphone amp as well and return it the next day.

Sheesh.........

Put two mointors behind and to the side and equal distance from the mic. Send a mono signal to both monitors and wire one of the monitors out of phase. This way you should have a log of cancellation when the sound reaches the mic.
