I Like Rusty Spoons
i have a couple friends that want to record an acoustic cd. thing is, on one of the songs they want to get an "old" sound. they said something along the lines of an old 40's era 78rpm record. so i recorded something really quick to see if i'm on the right track.
equipment used:
2 Shure 575S dynamic microphones on the guitar(1960's era mics that i found at a thrift store)
Behringer UB1202
Santa Rosa acoustic guitar (not the best, but it works)
MCA SP2 Condensor (for vocals)
recorded into Adobe Audition 1.5
i'm going off the sound i heard on the 1 or 2 78rpm's i've heard in my life.
let me know what else i could do to get an authentic "old" sound
