ok, so i have pretty good setup...iv read a couple books...i understand the basic principals of recording...but now its time to actually set up the band a record our first album...! i dont know why but all the sudden im panicking...i have enough resources to fix the detalied problems, but a nice overview of how the process should go...[the order, what should be done each day, etc..]...would really help. if someone could just give a little like i said overview of how to record a bands first album with a band consisting of...drums, bass, guitar, keys, and vocals...using a 16 track mixer, and a digital multitrack (obviously i have more equipment...i just didnt want anybody giving me an overview of how to use a comp. program) thanks so much!!!!!!!

Give us an EXACT and DETAILED list of your equipment.

Plus, the type of music/instruments you will be recording. ;)

Spins Right.
PLUS it is important as to whether you plan on tracking everyone at once (generally a bad idea) or 1-2 at a time. Perhaps you have an iso booth or more than one room.

Perhaps a little more info will help us!
