Nice work

Your technique is to die for. I must say that the Aura sounds nice but lacks the dimensional ambience one gets with multi-source signal recording of an acoustic instrument. I think the piece would open up if you would add a live mic and pan it and the aura slightly off center in opposite directions. I'd also cut some of the bass of the aura in the mix. Once again, I'd kill to own your chops.

Very well played. It sounds good for a direct recording, but there is still something not quite right about the sound, especially on some of the single note runs. I'd like to hear this guitar miked up.

That sounds a damn sight better than the pezieo/steel string combos I've heard. Is the Aura one of the pezio/mic combo systems, or is it that tone just fares better than steel'?

With your technique, no matter the mic, you're going to sound fantastic.

Mixsit, the Aura you can find on fishmanaura.com...that'll give you an idea!

Ah yes, thanks. I saw that one looking for a 'steel acoustic solution. (I ended up with the Korg AX10a - but that's a whole 'nother can of worms.
