Record .wav from harddrive to CD

My friend has bought a Sony CD-Recorder (CRX-140s)now he would like to burn some wave-files from his harddrive to CD. But he hasn't found a programm wich supports his Recorder. Does anybody know any downloadable programm wich would work?

What programs has he tried? If you have an older version of adaptec EZ CD, download the update patch from their site and it should work.

He has tried Gear Audio (are there any updates) and WinRecorder (he's not sure about the name).

I haven't heard of either of those programs. You usually get some type of software with the drive - Adaptec EZ CD, Sony Burn-It! etc. I'm not aware of any free programs out there. Adaptec EZ CD is not that expensive and it will work with it that drive.
