Record from Mic and CD/Tape

I have a behringer Xenyx 1204FX Mixer, and I want to record audio from both the CD/Tape and mic Inputs.

I have attempted this and when I add the CD/Tape to the Main Mix there is no sound.

Help!?

Try engaging the "CD/Tape to Main" button. It sits just above the Headphone control knob, just left of the power indicator light.
