Hi.
I want to record midi from my keyboard to my laptop. I have Cakewalk 9.03. I hook the keyboard to the midi in on my Motu Midi flyer. The midi out is hooked to my JV-1010. I can play the keyboard, and Cakewalk sends the midi info to the JV, and the JV makes the proper sounds. I can even go into the properties page and change the patches on the JV, and they work great with the keyboard. This tells me that Cakewalk is accepting the midi and passing it through, but the record button is greyed out. I am arming the track for recording, I am setting the source to midi omni. Channel to off, or on, and the record button is still greyed out. Any experts want to try this one?
