Recommend me a wireless set up...

I want to go wireless on my Schecter guitar, $300 or $400 price range.

Can I use it on my basses, too?

Do I need to spend more to sound great?

I'd reccomend a UHF diversity system (two antennas), there are several in your range. I use AKG SR40's, they are the only ones I know of that use AA bateries as opposed to 9V and have long battery life.

The Samson Airline UHF system uses a 9V in the receiver, but uses a single AAA in the transmitter. It lives up to its promised 14 hour battery life, does better than its promised range, and I can't tell any noticeable difference between plugging straight in on a 1/4" and going wireless.
