I'm seconding the Trakker. Just got one and I love it. It's a damn swiss army knife of compressors.

I like all the other recommendations, but would replace the 1176 with an MC77, which sounds more like a classic 1176 (as opposed to the UA remake, which does not).

I picked up an Alto CLE 4.0, it seems to do the job although I find its limiting function to be rather lacking. The main reason I got it was because of its 4 channels that can all be used simultaneously.
