yes it is Sonar 2.0

well i already payed $160 for the recording system, which was probably too much to fork out right now at the moment....

so..... no one here helps Kazaa users??

Get a life man...

Since you have no regards for intellectual property, let me know when you record a song. I'll come over to your house, steal the music, release it, make tons of money and not give you a single cent.

Hypocrite.

heh your right.

but yea,... it will probably be a while till i record a full song... im new at this whole recording stuff and i really dont know what im doing.

im learning with this, the next software i get i will actually pay for, i promise!!!

hmm..... yea thats all i have for now...

It sucks that you got XP... you can't even run ProFool's Free!!!

Have you looked at Home Studio? It's much cheaper than Sonar but they still use a similay engine... and with your $160 'sound input device' you will only be able to record 2 tracks at once..

In saying this, if you download that and get into trouble, we still won't help you....

Why is there a sudden flood of 'kids' coming onto this BBS and saying "I've downloaded this software off kazaa and I don't know how to do XYZ... can you help me?"

I think school has let out for the summer and they are spending a lot more time on the Internet. Idle hands...

That's right... it's Summer holidays over there for the Northern Hemisphere....

It's Winter over here... kids only get two weeks holidays... they get 6 weeks over out Summer (December - February).

The problem is with the people who temp simple thievery by kids today by allowing their copies of Sonar to be shared in the first place. I have heard of kids downloading entire movies for free. I would say that is tempting. The fools are the ones who illegally distribute through programs like Kaaza.

It still is amazing how someone will DL Sonar and come here to ask for help. Geeze, doesn't an illegal copy have the help and tutorials as well??? The nerve...

I thought I would say some nasty things about "How I understand kazaa-users" and "They have little money" and so on...

I think that spending $300 on a program is insane! It's crazy! But that didn't keep me from doing it. I needed Sonar so I had to buy it... ;)

But really I don't think Cakewalk-prizing is that bad. Have you checked the prize for Office XP lately?

And I'll stop here, or we'll have another "Cracks are good. -No they're not"-thread. And let's face it. Those are just boring. Because we all know that warez-users should be shot!

:D

Moskus,

Doesn't Computer Music Magazine have a free Multi-Track recording package on the front CD at the moment?

Yepp! :)

I hear it's quite good, but I've never tested it myself.

I mean, why should I? I'm allready at the top of the "food-chain"... :D

That's not a problem for me, as I'm already at the top of the sex-chain too... :D
