Recent Aardvark Drivers - 2000/XP

Just a quick note to you Aardvark users on Windows 2000 or XP - a new batch of drivers came out in late December.

I installed the drivers about 5 or 6 weeks ago, and they're MUCH more stable. I'm on Windows 2000, and the only time I used to have to reboot was due to soundcard issues - the sample rate would lock up and I would not be able to play anything back, etc. The new drivers seem to have fixed the bugs I was dealing with all the time. :) Now I don't know when I'll have to reboot.

If you haven't gotten them... Get them!

I agree. My once "phantom" effects are working all the time now. It's not that whiney with a SB Live card as before, too. But, dude, those drivers were out for a while! Glad they work for ya though:)

Yeah - they came out in December. I think it was about 6 weeks ago that I stopped over there and saw them. For some reason I just thought of it today, and figured I'd drop a note for anyone that hadn't grabbed them. It's not like they release them that often... lol

I think the last set was out a year ago or something, if that... :rolleyes:
