Recab 4 defaults to 2 channels, each with a different cabinet, when opened. So, if I record a L track and R track, I will have 4 different cabinets total for those 2 guitars.
Clearly, I'm unfamiliar with the common sense of this issue...but should I mute one of those channels on each track? I would think one guitar runs through one cabinet only..and that 2 guitar tracks with 4 cabinets is not ideal. Does it sound good with one guitar through 2 cabs? To me..maybe, sure. Being a guitar player for 24 years you would think I know what I'm doing with equipment...but yeah I don't.
