i have been trying to figure out how to edit one track's tempo without changing all the rest. maybe that's not possible. i'd understand if it wasn't. but whenever i pull up a drum track, the sample tempo is always faster than it is when i actually put it on my rack as a track. then, when i bump up the tempo to make the drums sound the way they did when i was sampling them, the rest of the tracks speed up and i have a different song so to speak (speed-wise anyway)

any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The tempo is for all the tracks, changing it for 1 individual track just wouldn't work. You need to know what tempo your working with at the start of your composition, that way when you create your drum loops things like this won't happen.

If your wanting to change the tempo on your current song, the only thing i can recommend is bouncing down your drum loops as audio files, calculate how fast you need to speed them up to to work back on your original track, once done, import it back. Not ideal, but should work.

Hope you sort it,

Tif
