I just got reason 3.0 and a tutorial.I usually use an MPC2000XL and a Triton (very user friendly).I want to learn computer software too.I can't understand the tutorial for Reason to save my life. They talk a lot but not step by step training. Is there any plain english tutorials for Reason 3.0 out there?

Just tryin to help. I know i'd prefer to read a manual than to watch a tutorial with no detail

Never needed a manual for MPC or Triton. guess those days are gone.Computer software is much different.I will get a manual though.

Uh, where can you get a manual if the software didn't come with it?
I would think there would at least be a help file. Those usually have more info than the manual anyway.

no manual

almost all the time means *pirate* software.....

Aha, a pirate supporter.

OK, maybe not. What do I know

If i can buy MPCs ,Keyboards, other gear on ebay why not software?

Hay pirate,
Did you look in the cd to see if is had a PDF manual?

You can do it of course, but just because you are paying for it doesn't make it legit. Software is more easily cloned than a keyboard or something.

Think of it like this; it doesn't work like say, a chair. You don't buy a chair, get all your use out of it in one sitting so that you can sit in the future without it, and then sell it while still retaining the "sitting" benefits of having the chair. The benefit of sitting goes with the owner of the chair. Not so with software.

Again, not saying it isn't legit, but I bet the guy that sold it is still using the software. He may have even registered it so that whatever you have is an unlicensed version. Or not.

Never thought of it like that.I am an MPC 2000XL dude.I am a computer retard. But for 50 bucks i thought i would try some software.Never thought i was being a "Pirate".Anyway it's mine now.Just need to learn how to use it.(50 bucks) i bet half of the people who read this go running to ebay!Who can resist?

I guess that is up to the individual's own morals....
I think this little ditty sums it all up: Don't Copy That Floppy
Damb!I hope i didn't put Propellerhead out of business. :) I'm sure they will be OK.I guess that's what i get for being a "pirate".I can't even use the thing.Maybe i'll stick to my MPC and Triton.

aww dont be so hard on yourself...well i have reasons and what is it not to know.....you need a midi keyboard and that is the first thing!!!! only redrum will work without the keyboard....everythig else needs to use the keyboard to make a sound. i bet after you plug a midi controller you will be playing in no time...
