Reason - 2 Controllers

Simple question,

Is it possible to use 2 MIDI controller keyboards with Reason (for example, 1 for Redrum and 1 for the Subtractor Synth)?

Cheers
Joe

Yes, but there's no way to have them switch automatically.

If you don't mind switching from the percussion-oriented controller for the Redrum to the melody-oriented controller for the Subtractor manually you will find success. If you are looking for some aspect of the software that reads either your mind or a specific gesture you are out of luck.

HI.
First off - check this out :

Now, as to your midi question :
You CAN connect 2 midi keyboards and use them at the same time.
Go to Advanced MIDI (i think it's in Edit>Preferences) and activate the two keyboards - one in BUS A and the other in BUS B.
Next, go to your project window and in the top device on the rack ("MIDI IN DEVICE") under BUS SELECT - choose BUS A / BUS B and assign the midi channels of each BUS to the synths/dr.rex/whatever you want to play with. This should give you the ability to play both keyboards at the same time and switch instruments easily.

Let me know if it works !
peace.
Buzi.
