When I first start up reaper, everything works fine but when I record vocals the volume is really low.
I can fix this by opening up audacity, moving the "recording volume a little" and then going back to reaper, and then the volume will be correct.
I don't understand why I have to keep doing this everytime I restart my computer and start up reaper though.
I already tried going to start --> sound --> recording --> at2020 microphone --> increase sound level, but it doesn't help unless I log on to audacity to move it a little, only then will the sound actually be correct on Reaper.
If I don't do this.. the sound will be extremely low and sound like a whisper.
Is this my microphone issue? Or Is it because of some setting on Reaper, I need to fix? Thanks in advance!
