Reaper midi problem

Ok so, currently i am experimenting with reaper (the trial version) and for some reason i can't get it to recognize my midi keyboard. I have a Casio Wk-200 connected to my mac via usb and when i try and connect a midi device it says that there is nothing connected. Anyone know what the problem is?

Not being a Mac user, I am unable to help much. Does the Casio need drivers to be loaded first?

Where do you see the error message?

Does your computer show a MIDI or USB device as connected?

There isn't really an error message, it just wont show up in the window. But yes, my computer recognizes it, i use it for garage band all the time.

Did you go into the preferences and enable the midi port(s)???

Yep. But now all of a sudden it detected it, sweet!
