I am an unrepenting Logic user, but recently I have been experimenting with Reaper, which strikes me as being a very fine application, particularly for audio.
However, its (apparent) lack of MIDI functionality is frustrating me.
So, for example, I can't initiate a MIDI program or control change from within Reaper, nor can I seem to control volume etc of an external MIDI device from within reaper.
Am I looking with my elbows again, or is there a way of doing this? Note that I am not talking about MIDI controlling a VST instrument, but an external module.
Help would be appreciated!
