How can I add effects to say my vocals and hear it in my headphone that are coming out of the headphone out of my Q10. I would like to track with some reverb while singing. Anyone know how to do this?

I have Sonar, and an Aardvark Q10.

Enable "Input Monitoring". (Options -> Audio -> Input Monitoring).

Some warnings though - unless you are working with very low latencies (< 5ms), you will hear this as a very distracting echo.

Also (I'm not sure about this) but I think you are restricted to using DX8 effects with input monitoring. Someone else may know for sure. Personally I don't use input monitoring due to the latency issue.

He's right. That means you must have WDM drivers to even have a hope of getting such small latencies. I understand from some other posts that the VST-to-DX wrapper works in such a way that it does not add latency to the process, so you might be able to use VST effects this way too.
