Hey Everyone

am kinda also looking for a sound card..

i was wondering if there was any good sound card with StereoMix so i can put my music and my voice.. useing inbuild soundcard atm

thanks youuu :)

Depending on how many simultaneous channels you want to record on, you may prefer a USB audio interface. As far as cards, the M-Audio Delta 44 and 2496 Audiophile card are solid choices.

M-Audio Delta series 44/66/1010LT. Full duplex and pretty decent converters. Do you want something with microphone preamps? Or any extras like headphone out for monitoring? My Delta 44 is pretty useless without an external microphone preamp and an external headphone preamp for monitoring. But boy does my CD collection sound grand on it.

well i got headphone and i got a mixer with preamp btw when it preamp you mean phatom power right...

how do you turn it over to stereomix becos i got no idea how to do that.. bcos am Line In and stereomix used over by the inbuld and play music from the stereomix and it mix it put it in with music/voice

If you become wealthy and famous I'm going to shoot myself. Not all preamps have phantom power, they are not synonymous.

By preamp I mean the ability to convert the mic signal to something loud enough and usable by a soundcard. Phantom power only if you have phantom powered mics. Mic output is generally fairly weak. It needs amplification to get something usable out of the deal. A mixer or other device works in a pinch. Many means to an end.
