our band records all of our shows direct to cd. I know that this is really stupid, cause all of the information that I need is in these pages, but I can't find it... I'ld just like to know , What is the best program for remixing and editing our cd's.... I'm looking for the easiest programs to use. As you can tell, I'm not the best person for the job, just the one with the most time...

When you say you record straight to CD, what exactly do you mean?

You can't re-mix your tracks if they've already been blended onto a CD...

See what I mean... I really have no clue... I'm sorry I meant that I want to edit my cd's ... move tracks around .. erase backround noise... take out the bad songs ( we all have them) and I need the easiest way to do that. I have looked at a bunch of programs. I just want to avoid getting something that is so much more than I really need.

Oh, I see... something like Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge Studio is an excellent program at a great price.

(Although the full version gives you more features...)

I agree. Soundforge is pretty powerful two track editor.
