Realistic back electret cardioid mic model 33-1080

I recently was given one of these as the owner was going to throw it away. From past post's, it seems that it is a re-branded Sony. My question is, can it run on phantom or must I use a AA battery? Will phantom damage it? IF it is in fact a Sony, does anyone know the model# ?
 
Ok... a little further search and I find it is a rebranded Sony ecm22. Apparently a pretty good little mic. Harvey Gerst recommends using a 12 volt cigarette battery in place of the 9 volt AA, I cannot find such a device, anyone know where I should look?
 
Thanks for the reply. That link to RS was for a different 33-1080 that is actually a PZM. Why they choose to use the same number for two completely different mics is puzzling.
