I'm currently using Samplitude 6.0 DAW with a 100 gig HD, 512 RAM,
XP O/S , Athlon AMD T2200 with the stock AC97 full-duplex soundcard.

My problem occurs whenever I'm recording ,...
I have no "real-time" control of my plug-ins,...

For example: If i'm recording a track and have my Amplitude Amp- simulator as the plug-in...I have no "real-time" control...
However : After the track is recorded "dry" ,I can use the plug-in
and everything functions properly....

I'm plugging my guitar into the line-in directly into the soundcard..

The problem is not just with the Amplitude plug-in.. I have no "real-time" control over any of my plug-ins....

Any help will be greatly appreciated,....
"THANKS" ...

S-R, that is because you have to have the material recorded into the computer first.

Then as you play it back, you play the material back, you can use the FX as real-time.
