This ever happen to you?
You load a real-time effect in the multi-track (say CEP's Reverb), hit "Properties" on it to set it, and none of the presets are there. Just a big blank suck on the dropdown menu.
I almost always have a general idea in mind about what preset I'm going to use as a starting point, so without them, I'm stuck.
I've encountered it a few times, and there's really no rhyme or reason to when or why it happens...it just does. Sometimes with HUGE sessions, sometimes with small ones. I usually end up just yanking the file into the editor and applying the effect directly, but I hate having to do that...especially since the whole point of real-time FX is to be able to hear how it sounds in the mix.
I'm thinking it may be a memory issue, which is why I'm wondering if anybody else has had this happen.
Thanks,
Nobody In Particular
