Who Cares!
Me n my maudio delta 44 has faithfully been with me for more than 4 yrs. Until earlier this year @ higher sampling rates is where this card shines (88.2 4 me) ALSO WITH SAMPLITUDE ITS THE SHIZNIT.
But now im ready to upgrade... I want the RME Fireface sooo bad y idont know. I never heard it in action before, but 10/10 people say its worth it. My only problem is not the price (monthly rent from americanmusical.com) but the input n outputs. I dont want only 4 tracks @ 88.2 or 96k via adat, but that technology is not here yet for that.
I was considering also the Delta 1010. well @ least 2 or 3 for all inputs 2 88.2 or higher, plus its mpowered compatible for the protools fiends. Ive heard biased reviews not based on drivers but converters. I will purchasing a mic pre with ad/da so i can sync via spdif.
I have heard about the 1820m, i've used the reg 1820 b4 and the sound was actually really clean, so i bet the M sounds way better. Only problem is you cant have more than 1 on a daw which really sucks.
So from what i've written is their any others that could steal the show (other tha that damn Fireface i want soooooo bad.)
