I'm ready to transfer via the digital out on my Roland VS-840 to the digital in on my CardDeluxe (installed on my Compaq Presario 5030, 300 Mhz Pentium II, 64 MB RAM, 6.4 GB harddrive). Is there any advantage to using the Cakewalk 6 (installed but never used) or is the software that came with my internal CD recorder sufficient. One more question: Is there any advantage to, and if so, how do I put each song on Cakewalk so that I can control it from there instead of from my DAW?
