re; need help patching studio, please....?

Hi all,
hope you can help - have denon dap5500, yamaha 4-t tape recorder with own small desk and bay, Pro-Mix 16-ch mixer with o/b effects, 44-input patchbay, amp, speakers plus xp pc using cool edit pro, m-audio delta-192 audiophile in addition to o/b integrated sound plus midi keyboard (with orchestration, etc. ).
My late husband and I have gigged and recorded for 26 years but he was the one who patched it all - I have used equipment and knew procedures but his own pc outdated so have to repatch with this one and need to know what piece of equip. comes before/after what, etc.. to get up and running.
I firstly have to access material on 4-t tapes and get onto pc.
Then have to record vox, etc. and onward.
Have almost finished mapping out diagrams of existing patching but old pc now defunct (and had addition of matrox card break-out box so had audio in/out too 'cos he did a/v work too)so patching to that not now in use although made notes of connections to it.
