Okay, so I've bought a Fostex Mr-8, and I want to buy a mixer to go with it. The mixer I was looking at has a line-level "main out," and a "record out." The main out is 1/4", and the record out is RCA.
BUT the Fostex does not have RCA inputs.
Could I simply buy cables that convert RCA to 1/4" inputs and record on tracks 1 and 2, so that I can use the main outs for live sound, provided I ever need to..?
